Texas Governor Perry sides with illegals

Texas Governor Rick Perry announced yesterday that doesn't believe that border security should be taken seriously. That's too bad. The legal citizens and residents of Texas are in just as much jeopardy as the legal citizens and residents of Arizona.

The Governor's statement is quoted in it's entirety below. His reasoning is a straw man arguement. Governor Perry said "some aspects of the law turn law enforcement officers into immigration officials by requiring them to determine immigration status during any lawful contact with a suspected alien, taking them away from their existing law enforcement duties". This is ridiculous. During any lawful contact, law enforcement asks you for your identification. If you're a citizen of Arizona you can produce your Arizona Drivers License or ID which requires proof of citizenship before it will be issued. If you are a legal resident alien or visitor, you are required tby Federal law o have the documents which show you are in the country legally on your person at all times. So, the only people who can get away with showing no identification are actually illegals. So, is Governor Perry a liar? a racist? an idealogue? or just another Progressive? What is he up to? I hope a Texan can tell us.

In his statement, Governor Perry has just made it very clear to all the illegals in Arizona, some of whom are leaving or planning to leave, that Texas is the place to go. Just as they did after Arizona law was enacted to revoke a business license if caught knowingly hiring illegals, many will now go to Texas. I hope you have enough jobs and taxpayer funds to support the influx, Texas.

Governor Perry also mentions comprehensive immigration reform. We all know by now that this phrase has come to mean amnesty and little else. They couch in terms of a path to citizenship but that too simply rewards the foreign invaders and encourages more illegal crossings.

With Arizonas new laws on illegal immigrant enforcement and concealed carry, I am no longer considering Texas a viable alternative in which to establish a home and will stay right here in my beloved, beautiful Arizona where equality under the law is the norm.

Statement by Gov. Rick Perry on Immigration and Border Security

AUSTIN – Gov. Rick Perry today issued the following statement regarding border security, the recent debate over immigration policy in Washington and what has been implemented in Arizona:
“Texas has a rich history with Mexico, our largest trading partner, and we share more than 1,200 miles of border, more than any other state. As the debate on immigration reform intensifies, the focus must remain on border security and the federal government’s failure to adequately protect our borders. Securing our border is a federal responsibility, but it is a Texas problem, and it must be addressed before comprehensive immigration reform is discussed.
“Recently, there has been much debate over immigration policy in Washington and what has been implemented in Arizona. I fully recognize and support a state’s right and obligation to protect its citizens, but I have concerns with portions of the law passed in Arizona and believe it would not be the right direction for Texas.
“For example, some aspects of the law turn law enforcement officers into immigration officials by requiring them to determine immigration status during any lawful contact with a suspected alien, taking them away from their existing law enforcement duties, which are critical to keeping citizens safe. Our focus must continue to be on the criminal elements involved with conducting criminal acts against Texans and their property. I will continue to work with the legislative leadership to develop strategies that are appropriate for Texas.
“Securing the border has to be a top priority, which is why I have a standing request with the federal government for 1,000 Title 32 National Guardsmen who can support civilian law enforcement efforts to enhance border security in Texas. I have also requested predator drones be based in and operate over the Texas-Mexico border to provide essential information about criminal activity to law enforcement on the ground.
“Until the federal government brings the necessary resources to bear, we will continue to commit state funding and resources for additional border security efforts in order to protect our communities and legitimate cross border trade and travel, while enforcing the laws already on the books.”

Fists, Masks, and the REAL agenda of the imported activists

Last Friday, April 23, 2010, Arizona Governor Brewer signed into law SB 1070 (pdf) which exactly mirrors United States Federal Law regarding the presence of illegal aliens in the United States. Essentially, SB 1070 made it illegal for a person to be in Arizona if that person is illegally in the United States of America. There is also a Fact Sheet.

In spite of the fact that the new law explicitly and deliberately states that racial profiling is not allowed, racists, liars, and idealogues all across the country are denigrating Arizona as racist and hatefilled. These same racists, liars, and idealogues have started a boycott of The Grand Canyon State. I doubt that will be succesful. This is a beautiful state. Call the Arizona Department of Tourism and let them know you support us.

The real victims of racism (up to and including the murder of a rancher near the border) in this situation are the citizens of the State of Arizona.Refried beans were smeared on the doors our our State House of Representatives and our State Senate in the shape of swastikas. “BURN THIS RACIST STATE”, a clear call to violence and destruction, was painted on the sidewalk near our State Capital.

The pictures included here are all downloaded from the azcentral.com website. I use them to prove that many of the activists were bused in from Los Angeles. I show you the masks (think who else wears masks) and the raised fists (remember who did that?) and the hateful signs. I also show you pictures of the crowds (hundreds, not thousands).

I have preserved the picture number from azcentral in the name of each photo in the event you wish to find the original.

ICE frees up 300 jobs for Americans

ICE Audited 84 companies in Arizona and found 300 employees at one business to be likely illegal aliens. Those 300 people represent 20% of the total employees at Pro's Ranch Market. The article says that Pro's Ranch Market could be fined as a result of the hiring of illegals. That may be under federal law. But, if it can be shown that Pro's Ranch Market knew or should have known that the people were illegally in this country, then Pro's Ranch Market could lose it's business license under Arizona law. That would be a great example to set.

Pro's Ranch Markets fires 300 after workplace audit

About 300 employees at Pro's Ranch Markets' six Valley supermarkets were let go Tuesday and Wednesday after an initial Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency audit found them to be working illegally in the United States.
The fired employees can appeal the decision, but they are prohibited from working during the process.
Julie Pace, an attorney for Pro's Ranch Markets, said most of the affected workers gave the company forged documents when asked to demonstrate their eligibility to work in the United States.
Only citizens and non-citizens with work-authorization documentation are permitted to hold jobs in the United States.
"We complied with all the requirements, but they were still able to slip through," she said.
Pro's Ranch Markets has about 1,500 employees in the Valley.
The company eventually could be fined as a result of the action.
Pace said Pro's Ranch Market gave terminated employees packets containing an immigration-resource list, parting message from the company's president and a $250 grocery gift card.
Pro's Ranch Market is among 1,654 U.S. businesses, including 84 in Arizona, that have undergone audits of their employee eligibility forms, called I-9 forms, since July 2009.
All employees (citizen and non-citizen) hired after Nov. 6, 1986, must fill out the forms that document their eligibility to work in the United States. Employers are required to maintain the forms and, on request, turn them over to ICE agents for inspection.
Virginia Kice, an ICE spokeswoman, would not say how many of the 84 companies audited in Arizona were found to have illegal workers. Some of the audits are ongoing, she said.
Nationwide, an initial inspection of 85,000 I-9 forms from 654 companies found about 14,000 suspect documents.
The agency fined 61 of the companies a total of $2.3 million.
Pro's Ranch Markets is based in Ontario, Calif., and maintains a regional headquarters in Phoenix. It operates 12 Latin-themed supermarkets in Arizona, California, New Mexico and Texas.

City Council of Phoenix not to back Mayors plan to sue AZ

Phoenix City council not likely to back Mayor Gordon in his bid to to sue the state of SB 1070.

I observed Mayor of Phoenix, the city in which I live, Phil Gordon on Fox News last night compare his the state of Arizona to Nazy Germany. Godwin's law dictates you lose, Mayor. That is competely outrageous. Mayor, if this state is so horrible, please move away. And take John McCain with you!

Anyone who refuses to recognize the importance of a nation establishing, enforcing, and protecting it's border has an ulterior motive. Gordon is an Obama suckup and would turn Phoenix into a sanctuary city if he could. Gordon is an embarrassment!Any fool who thinks it's unconstitutional to enforce the border isn't reading the Constitution of the USA.

Phoenix councilors say they don't back Mayor Gordon on his plan to sue
Most Phoenix City Council members said Monday they will not support a plan by Mayor Phil Gordon to file a lawsuit against the state seeking to block the new law that targets illegal immigration.
Gordon, a Democrat, has called the legislation "unconstitutional," saying it will lead to racial profiling. He intends to put the proposal to a vote at a council meeting set for 2 p.m. today, said his chief of staff, Debra Stark.
But the council's five Republicans - Sal DiCiccio, Bill Gates, Claude Mattox, Peggy Neely and Thelda Williams - told The Arizona Republic they won't back a legal challenge to the law, which they say deals with immigration problems long ignored by Washington.
They also said it is fiscally irresponsible for Arizona's largest city to launch a taxpayer-funded suit when other entities, including the American Civil Liberties Union and the Mexican American Legal Defense and Education Fund, are contemplating litigation.
"The last thing we should be doing is spending money on this lawsuit when we have so many pressing needs in this city," Gates said. "We know there will be other entities bringing lawsuits - ACLU, MALDEF - we know that will happen."
Williams said the state had to toughen its illegal-immigration policies because of inaction by the federal government.
"I don't think people in Phoenix, people in Arizona need to be subjected anymore to the crime and drugs pouring across the border," said Williams, who formerly worked for immigration-hardliner Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio.
Today, Gordon will ask the nine-member council to direct the city attorney to prepare a lawsuit seeking an injunction to prevent the law from taking effect.
For days, the mayor has refused to speak to The Republic's City Hall reporter, but he told CNN's Wolf Blitzer on Monday that he personally would sue the state if he could not corral the five necessary votes.
Gordon added that he's troubled by recent calls for economic boycotts of Arizona. The San Francisco Board of Supervisors will consider a resolution banning the city from doing any business in Arizona-based firms or the state.
His CNN appearance was part of a days-long media blitz to drum up opposition to the law and support for potential litigation. Since Senate Bill 1070 was signed by GOP Gov. Jan Brewer on Friday, Gordon has given interviews to Fox News' Bill O'Reilly, ABC's "Good Morning America Weekend" and CBS News.
The law "unconstitutionally co-opts our police force to enforce immigration laws that are the rightful jurisdiction of the federal government," Gordon wrote in an opinion piece in the Washington Post.
The law makes it a state crime for a person to be in Arizona illegally and requires police officers to make a reasonable attempt to determine the immigration status of a person if there is suspicion that person is in the country illegally.

Protest Turns violent after AZ Governor signs SB 1070

A busload of activists from Southern California arrived in Phoenix this week. I think this is what they came for. This appears to be on the Legislative Mall at the Arizona state capital.

ACORNs Bull Nutter

Former ACORN head calls Tea Parties "bowel movement" and claims "they're coming after you".

This woman, Bertha Lewis, is insane. She actually thinks, in a country where leftists control all three branches of goverment, that somehow right thinking people are going to inter social democrats.

You've got to know, actually, we are living in a time that's going to dwarf the McCarthy era. It is going to dwarf the internment of World War II. We are right now in a time that is going to dwarf the era of Jim Crow and segregation.
They are coming. And they are coming after you. And they are going to be brutal and oppressive. They've already shown it. ... This is not rhetoric or hyperbole -- this is real. ... This tea party so-called movement -- a bowel-movement in my estimation -- and this blatant uncovering and ripping off the mask of racism.

Watch the vid. She's a complete nutter.

The Democrat Party has been completely taken over by socialists. Read it yourself. A Party Within A Party.

Maybe Bertha is related to this lovely creature. This is a product of your Democrat party. For the last 100 years they have allowed themselves to be infiltrated by Progressives. This is is the end result.

FBI: Home Grow Extremists as Threatening as Al Qaeda

FBI Director Robert Mueller warns that Home Grown Extremists are as Threatening as Al Qaeda. In the article, Christian Militias are mentioned but not a word about the many islamic training camps which exist around the United States of America. Not one word about Islamberg.

Holger says it all. They are setting the stage.

Mueller: Home-Grown Extremists as Threatening as Al Qaeda

The warning, from the FBI Director, Robert Mueller, came as the former President Clinton drew parallels between the Oklahoma City tragedy and a recent upsurge in anti-government rhetoric.
Fifteen years after the Oklahoma City bombing, the specter of domestic terrorism has returned to haunt the Obama administration, with a warning from the FBI that “home-grown and lone-wolf extremists” now represent as serious a threat as Al Qaeda and its affiliates, The Times reported on Saturday.
The warning, from the FBI Director, Robert Mueller, came as the former President Clinton drew parallels between the Oklahoma City tragedy and a recent upsurge in anti-government rhetoric, while American television audiences heard Timothy McVeigh, the Oklahoma City bomber, describe the “absolute rage” that drove him to plan an attack that killed 168 men, women and children.
An FBI spokesman said Friday that Mueller was referring to right-wing extremist groups and anti-government militias, as well as American Islamists, in his testimony to the Senate committee that must approve the FBI’s $8.3 billion budget.
Last month federal agents arrested nine members of a Christian militia based in Michigan, calling itself the Hutaree. They have been charged with plotting to murder local police with a stash of guns, knives and grenades.
Since the passage of President Obama’s health reforms, the FBI has also made arrests in Seattle and San Francisco after death threats were sent to Democratic senators.
“It’s one thing to express dissatisfaction with the Government but once you cross the line with a violent threat, that’s a violation that we take extremely seriously,” Bill Carter, the bureau’s spokesman, said.
The Oklahoma bombing was followed by an exhaustive civilian trial in which McVeigh became a hate figure to most but a hero to some members of the survivalist fringe on which he was radicalized.
He was executed in 2001, but not before granting 45 hours of death-row interviews to the authors of a book, American Terrorist, whose tapes will be broadcast for the first time on Monday.
McVeigh never confessed to the bombing in court but he appears to do so on the tapes.
“I feel no shame for it,” he says. “This was something that I saw as a larger good, and I know that, as I analyzed the history of not just the U.S., but all nations throughout the history of mankind. People have killed for what they believed was the greater good, and it’s accepted. Sometimes killing is accepted.”
The White
House was careful to emphasize that the threat of external terrorism remained acute but senior officials are privately confident that military operations in Afghanistan are going well and putting Al Qaeda on the back foot.
Few people in Washington are as confident about the domestic threat.

Michael Steele Donkeys Ass

Update: Call the RNC at 202.863.8500 and tell them what you think of this Donkeys ass. I just left a message letting them know that not one cent would come from me until Steele is gone.

Micheal Steele is either a plant or an idiot. Either way, the RNC won't get one penny from me until he's gone. Race baiting haters like Al Sharpton and his friends are no friend to Conservatives, Constitutionalists, and traditional Americans. So, what are you Michael Steele? Micheal Steele, if you think Al Sharpton is your friend, then please, go join him in the Progressive, er, I mean Democrat Party.

Republican National Committee Chairman Michael Steele embraced the Rev. Al Sharpton as a "strong leader" yesterday while comparing some in his own party to an elephant's rear end.

Steele so far has weathered a recent controversy over RNC spending, including a $2,000 tab at a bondage-themed club in California, which upset fellow Republicans.

But his speech to a midtown gathering of Sharpton's National Action Network could set off a new round of GOP head-scratching.

Though Sharpton has long been vilified by Republicans, Steele hailed him as a "friend."

"We have spent time at various events together and at all times, we have talked about how do we move forward," Steele said.

Steele, the RNC's first African-American chairman, said he wanted to correct the party's past missteps with the black community.

"I work every day in this job, as I like to put it, to turn the elephant," he said, referring to the party's iconic symbol.

"Now, I don't know if you ever had to turn an elephant, but the end you have to start with is not necessarily the best place to start."

Aides later stressed that Steele was not referring to anyone in particular and was only talking about his efforts to better position his party.

He referred only indirectly to the Club Voyeur dust-up.

"You can't please everyone," he said, "but you can certainly make them all mad at you at the same time. Apparently, I am pretty good at that."

Turn the elephant? Why exactly would Micheal Steele need to turn the elephant? Turn the elephant towards what? Moving forward with race baiting haters like Al Sharpton? Forward to what? No thanks Steele. You turn yourself. I'll stay on the path of the Founding Fathers and the Constitution.

An American Hero

Kwame James. Hero. And now, American Citizen. Welcome Kwame James! It's a pleasure to share the title "American Citizen" with a selfless hero such as you. I'm just sorry it took so long.

Hero who helped subdue shoe bomber becomes citizen

The 6-foot-8 basketball player was napping when a flight attendant roused him. Ten rows back, Reid was scuffling with passengers and the crew after he tried to ignite explosives hidden in his shoes. James helped tie up Reid with belts and headset wires, and took turns holding Reid by his ponytail with another passenger until the plane could land in Boston.
Nearly 10 years later, James would rather talk about how happy he is to be a new citizen and his passion for music.
"I became a citizen of one of the best countries in the world and I am very happy," he said Friday, a day after he was sworn in as a citizen in Atlanta. "All the things that people come here for, that's what I'm here for, the opportunity. You can come from nothing and become something here, just through hard work."
James, who was born in Canada and raised in Trinidad, played professional basketball in France. He had been traveling to the U.S. to meet his then-girlfriend and take her to his family's home in Trinidad for the holidays. He returned to France after the trip but asked his basketball coach for some time off when the reality of the flight's close call set in.
"I didn't understand the magnitude of what happened at first," he said.

Lord, please don't let him be another leftwing fool

Census Fraud?

I was listening KCRS-AM Midland/Odessa TX this morning just before 11am local time (just before 9am AZ time when a woman called in and said that she received 2 census forms in the mail. She lives in OK and was on her way to Padre Island and spoke with folks along the way about it. She ran into ten people in one stop who all received 2 census forms. The next caller was from another fellow who also received 2 census forms. The first caller theorized that this is census fraud and that the duplicate forms are being sent out to heavily Dhimmicrat districts. I don't know that to be true but I would not find it shocking.

I do know that I dutifully filled out the census form which I received. Within a week I received a letter telling me that I had better send it in because it's the law. And another form. I live in a heavily Republican area (thank the Lord!).

So, what do you think? Send in the second form or not?

Good Riddance Stupak

Rep. Bart Stupak to retire

And good riddance! He knows he betrayed the unborn and those of us who care about human life. Everyone knows that idiotic Executive Order isn't worth the paper it's written on.

Obama phoned Stupak and asked him not to retire. Pelosi too. And John Dingle. So, this is a defeat for those baby killers too. Good news all around. These and others like them probably sleep well at night. May they get their just rewards for all eternity. G-ds judgement will fall on all including those who deny his existence or who think they can live as if He doesn't exist.

Rep. Bart Stupak (D-Mich.), who had a central role in the health reform fight as the leader of anti-abortion Democrats, plans to announce Friday that he will not run for reelection, a Democratic official said. Without Stupak on the ballot, the seat becomes an immediate pickup opportunity for Republicans.

"Now with health care done, he’s retiring," a friend said. "He has thought about retiring for the last three cycles, but was always talked into staying: to elect John Kerry to help end the war, to elect a Democratic majority to get health care done."

President Barack Obama called Stupak on Wednesday and asked him not to retire. Stupak, 58, also resisted entreaties from Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Rep. John Dingell (D-Mich.), the dean of the Wolverine State delegation.

Republicans immediately attributed Stupak's decision to step down as a direct consequence of his health care vote.

“After selling his soul to Nancy Pelosi, it appears that Bart Stupak finally found the courage to tell her no," said Ken Spain, communications director of the National Republican Congressional Committee. "The political fallout over the Democrats’ government takeover of health care has put the political careers of many Democrats in jeopardy thanks in part to Stupak’s decision to abandon his alleged pro-life principles."

Republicans believe that other pro-life Democrats, suh freshman Reps. Steve Driehaus (D-Ohio) and Kathy Dahlkemper (D-Pa.), will also face serious trouble because of their support for the health care legislation without strict anti-abortion provisions.

Stupak plans to continue to live in the district, the Democratic official said. He plans to say that as he opens a new chapter, he will continue to serve the people of the 1st District, just not as their congressman.

Friends said Stupak was not leaving because of the health fight but because of the exertion that would be required to hold his sprawling Upper Peninsula District. He made the final decision during a conversation with his family while in Indianapolis to root for Michigan State in its Final Four basketball game.

The Upper Peninsula seat gave President Obama just 50 percent of the vote, and supported former President Bush in 2004 with 53 percent. But Stupak never had faced difficulty winning reelection, always prevailing with at least 57 percent of the vote since he was first elected in 1992.

This year was shaping up to be a different story, with Stupak becoming a leading target on both his left and right flanks. Abortion rights supporters were rallying behind Charlevoix County Commissioner Connie Saltonstall after Stupak insisted on pro-life language being inserted in the health care legislation.

The Tea Party Express caravan, stopped in Stupak's Upper Peninsula district last night to protest his health care vote as part of a concerted attempt to oust the incumbent. The group had named Stupak as one of its leading targets.

The friend said he believes he would have won, and added: "More than 95 percent of the opposition from left and right has come from outside of his district."

And Republicans have rallied around surgeon Dan Benishek, a tea party favorite, who received very little attention until Stupak voted for the health care legislation even without receiving anti-abortion language in the bill itself. Benishek is expected to raise over $100,000 this quarter, according to GOP sources, a large amount for a first-time candidate who had virtually no campaign infrastructure before Stupak received national attention over his health care positioning.

Democrats who could hold the seat include state senator Jim Barcia (a former congressman), Mike Prusi and Gary McDowell, and state Reps.

Happy Resurrection Sunday

Jesus was a Jew. Honor that. Never Forget. By way of remembering, if you have not already seen the movie Defiance, I highly recommend it. It is not pleasant. True stories often are not. But, remember that the Jews of today, the Jews of the 1930s and 1940s... their ancestors preserved the Scriptures. Original Testament and Second Testament. Honor that. Remember that. Remember Genesis 12-3.
and I will bless them that bless thee, and him that curseth thee will I curse: and in thee shall all the families of the earth be blessed.

UPDATE: I'm also buying the book Defiance by Nechama Tec. No doubt the book will be even more horrifying due to the ability to include far more details.
