Federal Govt demands explanation from AT&T

PowerLine shows more Obama administration thuggish behavior. The Progressives are now demanding that AT&T come before them and explain a letter that AT&T wrote to it's employees. which was not supportive of Obamacare. Justify that in the United States of America.

Caterpillar said Obamacare will cost it an additional $100 million in the first year; Medtronic warned that the new tax on its products "could force it to lay off a housand workers;" Verizon told its employees that it "will likely have to cut healthcare enefits to offset the new costs;" and AT&T announced that it will record a $1 billion non-cash expense in the first quarter and "will be evaluating prospective changes to the active and retiree health care benefits offered by the company."

These announcements are the tip of the iceberg; hundreds like them will follow as Obamacare becomes a reality. Congressional Democrats, evidently stung by the bad publicity, are trying to strike back.

What was AT&Ts crime? A letter the Chairman, President, and CEO wrote to the employees. Seriously.

And we can thank Bart Stupak for this stupid, intrusive, uncapitalistic move on the part of our anti-Capitalist government.

If I were the AT&T CEO, I'd show up with a stack of verified phone bills showing Stupak and Waxman's 278 phone calls to a 900 porn line. Then i'd reveal the texts between Barton and his sixteen year old gay lover.
