Ordinary everyday American citizens from all walks of life, all education levels, all professions/trades regularly demonstrate greater knowledge of and respect for their Constitution than their elected representatives.
Case in point:
Get ACTIVE people. You are a better defender of your rights, the Consitution, and the rule of law than a majority of the elected officials of this country.
